Responsible for procurement of goods and services (i.e. indirect materials) with a strong focus on relationship management with key internal & external stakeholders for all procurement related activities, globally. Mitigate risks to SAP and contribute to SAP’s strategy & objectives. Core tasks include:

Collaborate closely with local businesses and align sourcing strategies and activities with their business objectives
Provide advice and guidance to key stakeholders on procurement procedures, policies and processes
Determine business requirements and gather specifications
Translate business requirements/needs into purchasing requirements
Create and implement strategies (sourcing and supplier strategies) and develop strategic category plans
Seek continuously opportunities for improvements, innovations and saving opportunities
Perform market analysis/benchmarking and explore market capability to gain market intelligence
Ensure risk and compliance along the end-to-end Source-to-Pay process
Conduct competitive tenders, bidding by utilizing sourcing cloud solution
Negotiate and manage agreements/contracts by utilizing contract cloud solution
Manage supplier relationships & lifecycle from onboarding, supplier evaluation and development until phase-out
Improve and develop procurement processes, policies and procedures continuously
Manage projects of different size and complexity with local, regional or global focus
Give guidance and manage collaboration to the operations team in the Shared Service Centre
Work on contracts negotiation, tickets support strategy

Experience & Language Requirements

Basic procurement understanding; six months experience working in a business environment; knowledge of procurement systems; Microsoft Office applications etc.

Education

Highest school degree

And/or at least 1-2 years' experience in the finance or commercial areas with a proven performance track record.
