Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer Analystfor Dealer Solutions and Order Management Architecture located in Chicago or Moline, Illinois, you will….

Work on an architecture team and support systems and software deployment and/or maintenance by planning its work, coordinating with others to deliver functionality on complex systems.
Analyze software designs and capabilities to achieve business objectives and gain appropriate value from packaged and existing solutions.
Use advanced-level knowledge and experience on major software packages, web services, and cloud platforms to build the work needed to implement functionality from the product roadmap.
Work closely with other team members to ensure that architectures meet business needs; work collaboratively with infrastructure, security, and other stakeholder partners to provide solution delivery
Continuously learn and progress skill set.

What Skills You Need

4+ years of experience working with complex applications, data, infrastructure, and/or IT security.
4+ years of experience in software development, business software configuration, and/or data analysis which include technologies such as AWS, SAP Business Technology Platform, Java, and React to name a few.
4+ years of experience analyzing, translating, and defining business requirements for technical solutions.
4+ years of experience with one or more major software packages, programming languages, web services, and/or cloud technologies (or comparable experience with custom, complex multi-component systems).

What Makes You Stand Out

Business process knowledge, particularly in sales, order fulfillment, finance, and/or service.
Verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation.
“Full stack” analysis and troubleshooting experience, particularly in complex IT environments.
Software design and development experience, particularly in the area of modern web applications and cloud native services. “Front-end” experience would also be a value-add.
SAP configuration, development, or Basis experience.
Microsoft Dynamics configuration or development experience.
Experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and/ or SAP Business Technology Platform (Nice to Have)
Experience with modelling languages (such as UML or FMC), technical writing, decision analysis techniques, or exposure to Enterprise Architecture practices.

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
