JOB DESCRIPTION
Join our dynamic Marketing Automation Process & Strategy (MAPS) team in the key role of Marketing Technologist – Tagging Technology & Data Migrations. The team is looking for a Marketing Technologist with a combination of technical, marketing and data skills, specialized in Tagging and preferably marketing analytics/attribution models. In this pivotal role, you will drive the establishment robust technical roadmap pertaining to tagging repositories, campaign management tools, and planning & budgeting tools, including validation rules. You’ll be working closely with business owners to translate business strategies around tagging to a holistic end2end technical roadmap, including design of data flows, solutioning with IT, Business Acceptance Testing and rolling out new technical solutions.
Moreover, you will take the lead in orchestrating the migration of SAP entities and its behavioral data to SAP’s technology and data stack, ensuring the seamless integration of behavioral data to meet business use cases.
The technical foundation for tagging as well as bringing SAPs behavioral data into one ecosystem are paramount for empowering comprehensive end-to-end personalization at scale and setting the stage for a robust attribution model.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Business Stakeholders in the area of Web, Omnichannel Strategy and Analytics & Optimization to gather business requirements for technological and data changes around tagging, enabling personalization at scale and advance attribution modeling
• Collaborate closely with various system owners to build to a joined technical strategy as it relates to the integration of tagging repositories, ensuring consistency across channels
• Craft and maintain a comprehensive technical roadmap for Tagging & Validation initiatives.
• Develop a Campaign Management Tool aligned with the overarching business strategy pertaining to tagging.
• Foster automated processes through validation rules, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual interventions for streamlined tagging practices.
• Spearhead the integration of systems incorporating SAP entities, with a key focus on harmonizing data for behavioral insights and ensuring tagging coherence, including the migration to SAP data flows and tagging repositories.
• Develop E2E technical strategy and work with colleagues from team to ensure end2end cohesion
• Collaborating closely with IT to ensure development of appropriate solutions, including Business Acceptance Testing
• Thoroughly document deliveries and establish processes and enablement materials, empowering marketers to utilize deliveries autonomously.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing tagging business and tech strategy
• In-depth knowledge of Tag Management, tagging repositories and their role in creating a cohesive tagging landscape.
• AEM Cloud and Attribution Models experience is a plus
• Strong consulting skills to align business and tech strategies.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining tagging strategies and technology
• Experience with complex migration projects
• Ability to analyze and optimize business strategies for scalability and automation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external partners.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 141,800 - 323,900 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
