What you'll do
Summary
At SAP University Alliances we partner with other LoBs to provide the best services to foster strategic research collaborations between SAP and academia.
The Cloud ERP portfolio team takes care of the portfolio and product planning for all business units of the Cloud ERP organization. This includes investment and budget planning as well as quarterly alignments, ensuring large scale business agility. The processes run continuously with a fixed sequence while they are constantly improved between the major planning cycles.
The Role
As an operational portfolio planer, you will work with the Cloud ERP portfolio team. Your goals are:
- Support regular recurring portfolio processes like invest case reviews, quarterly alignments, critical topic meetings etc.
- Support and improve existing portfolio and product management processes from a definition, roll out, documentation and tool perspective.
- Improve the existing portfolio planning processes regarding efficiency, agility and focus using data driven monitoring and analysis tools. E.g. work on the definition and implementation of agile metrics for the Cloud ERP Portfolio- and PM planning
- Strengthen the collaboration within the SAP@TUM program regarding portfolio and large scale agile related topics.
What you bring
- PhD in Business Information systems with focus on software planning and large-scale agility
- Technical as well as conceptual and social capabilities regarding software planning process definition, implementation and the according tool support
- Proven experience in industry projects working on the implementation of large-scale agile working models
- Experience in multicultural working environments
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work conceptually
- Software engineering skills regarding SQL and database layer as basis for process analytics
- Sound knowledge of large-scale agile software development, scaling agile frameworks, metrics, goals and software planning processes
- Fluent in German and English
- +4 years of professional experience
