What you'll do
This position offers students the opportunity to get direct insights into a strategically important SAP sales unit and daily business. The students will get direct partner & customer contact and will perform high-value, responsible Sales & Marketing tasks.
Initially, the students will be provided with the relevant product knowledge about SAP Customer Experience Solutions through different trainings & onboarding activities.
Apart from different marketing campaigns, it is also conceivable that the student support in Pre-Sales activities and potentially also in partner appointments & workshops (virtual meetings).
The operation language is mainly in German and English
What you bring
- Student of an university or university of applied sciences (FH)
- Preferred fields of study (others are also fine): Sales, Marketing, Media, Business Administration
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook
- Language skills: German, English is a must. French is a plus.
- Soft skills: Team-minded, empathic, communicative, self-generated initiative, conflict-capable, understanding, prioritizing
Work experience:
No work-related experience is required.
However, beneficial are former sales & marketing activities or interacting with people (convincing people) during internships or other part-time work.
Meet your team
SAP is looking for support in Sales, Demand Generation, Marketing, Social Media (LinkedIn) for SAP Customer Experience (CX) Cloud Department & the following Solutions (SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP Sales & Service Cloud, Emarsys, SAP Customer Data Cloud) based on a working student position. This position builds the sales-related bridge between marketing and the field sales. As part of the Sales & Partner support the student will support relevant tasks around demand generation activities e.g. campaign support with Outreach or event preparation. This strives for the generation of more sales pipeline & opportunities within SAP CX in Switzerland across different industries (Retail, Wholesale, Manufacturing, Utilities etc.).
It might be that at some point in time the student needs to approach partners or clients directly. Moreover, the student shall take part in Team meetings and support the overall Sales Team with the creation of videos, Social Media postings or attractive pitches.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
