SAP NS2 Sr. Product Delivery and Operations

Responsibilities:
Lead efforts and liaison with various teams within NS2 and SAP to ensure delivery of new applications and services for multi-tenant applications are operationally ready at the time of General Availability.
Engage, influence, and evangelize Site Reliability Engineer practices with development, operational and product groups to align technology service/solution delivery.
Ensure new products being delivered to NS2 have appropriate documentation, SOPs and planned knowledge transfer to operational teams.
Ensure delivery of application conforms to provided blueprints and architectural diagrams.
Adhere to defined quality and security standards and policies within the organization with an objective for continuous improvement. This includes participation in postmortems and ensuring actions are followed-up.
Effectively report "progress" on strategic initiates and project level tasks to project managers and group leadership.
Key Skills:
Competency in service delivery and application operations
Competency of Linux/Unix.
Competency in Kubernetes and Hyperscaler services.
Experience with fault tolerant approaches in a large-scale distributed environment and high-performance systems,
Demonstrated experience working in large, complex systems environments.
Understanding of internet and networking protocols.
A passion for performance excellence, robustness, and engineering mindset
BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent work experience.
Qualifications:
Accomplished technical leader with 2+ years managing delivery in regional and global areas in a high-volume transaction environment.
Have effective time management, communication, and decision-making, skills.
8-10+ years of experience managing SaaS platforms / datacenter operations experience
8-10+ years of progressive experience in large complex cloud-based services.
Hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving complex data center technology issues
8-10+ years’ Experience with automated product deployment and infrastructure buildouts.
Experience working in a software development-focused company; partnering with Software Development Managers and Directors
Have an engineering and an automation first mindset.
8-10+ years’ experience in Software Development, Automation, Orchestration, CI/CD and use of configuration management tools
Knowledge of modern monitoring tools including APM, RUM and synthetic monitoring
Detail oriented and organized with the ability to easily identify areas that require improvement
