Location: Plano, TX
Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Principal Consultant at our Plano, TX location to perform expert consulting activities for the Transportation Management (TM) application.
Expectations and Tasks:
Create discovery documentation. Conduct fit-gap analysis workshops. Implementation based on activate methodology. Create test cases, scheduling, and execution. Perform key user training, go live support, and post go live support. Perform feasibility studies and solutions reviews. Support presales activities, including license and consulting. Identify and apply integrated service delivery options. Architect TM solutions based on customer requirements. Responsible as team lead and support respective line manager(s) in people development tasks. Perform detail planning of process implementation. Define detailed blueprint for development requirements. Provide industry or corporate process implementation across all related applications (SAP/non- SAP). Develop and Assure quality of process models. Demonstrate expert knowledge of modeling standards and tools. Experienced in all lifecycle phases of a standard project (Blueprint to Go live support). Provide actual experience AGILE/ SCRUM process and Activate methodology. Act as a coach or mentor to consulting colleagues.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field and seven (7) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:
• Project configuration in SAP Transportation Management;
• Full cycle SAP Transportation Management implementation;
• Freight Order Management, Planning, Charge Calculation, and Settlement for SAP Transportation Management;
• Integrate SAP Transportation Management with core SAP Modules including EWM, ECC, S4, and LBN;
• Integrate SAP Transportation Management to third party transportation solutions including Rateware XL, PC Miler, FedEx, XPS, or Marisol;
• SAP track and trace functionality including SAP Event Management or SAP Global Track and Trace;
• SAP Agricultural Commodity Management;
• Presales cycles SME support consultant for SAP Transportation Management; and
• AGILE project implementation methodology including in a project setting.
Travel: Position requires up to 50% domestic travel to various and unanticipated customer sites nationwide.
Telecommuting Permitted. Position can be based anywhere in the continental U.S.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $132,933 - $198,560. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $146,000 - $248,200. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
