About the Service Management Team:
The Service Management Team's mission is to support SAP's strategy by developing and managing all preferred CTW suppliers that enhance CTW’s competitiveness and successes. The team is divided into three main areas of competencies: the Source and Procure Team, which manages the contractual relationship with CTW vendors; the IT Operations Team, which manages CTW incidents raised by SAP employees; and the QA Team, which ensures that all products meet expected quality before deployment to internal SAP employees.

Client Technology Workplace (CTW) concentrates on the workspace environment, including end-user protection, server operations, software distribution, end-user tools development, desktop management, and client virtualization. As part of IE Client Services, the CTW team delivers the Digital Workplace, Office 365 Cloud Services, and Virtualization Services to enhance our users' productivity. CTW ensures users' trust by providing highly secure collaboration methods through cloud and virtualization technologies, on mobile, PC, and web.
What you’ll do:
Position title: Service Management Intern

In this role, you’ll:
Day-to-Day Operations:
- Attend and take notes during weekly team meetings and other meetings as required
- Maintain and update the Contract Management system
- Assist with hardware procurement orders using Ariba
- Complete ad-hoc tasks as assigned
- Research and propose solutions for various topics
Project-Related Tasks:
- Support the development of the Contract Management Collaboration portal
- Create project-specific document templates using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software
- Assist with RFx project-related tasks
- Maintain an action list with inputs from SAP and suppliers during internal and vendor meetings
- Support the Service Management Team in drafting procurement documentation
- Serve as the administrative point of contact and act as a liaison between SAP and suppliers
- Assist the Contract Manager in evaluating potential vendors
- Prepare documents for contract signature and ensure they are up-to-date
- Take notes during due diligence to document the consensus reached
- Support the CTW Contract Manager in developing and documenting contract management procedures, including Change Requests
Who you are:
You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree
- Previous internship experience (ideally) in a comparable role within a corporate environment
- Working experience (1 to 2 years) – mainly in the IT industry or procurement
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Presentation skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint and verbal presentations
- Ability to work effectively with remote teams from diverse cultures
- Good listening skills and proficiency in taking notes
- Proactive, quick learner, and comfortable working independently
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to work.
