The Team
The Virtual Events Strategy and Production team is responsible for the strategy, creation and execution of Tier 1 global virtual events, product launches and news announcements. The team strives to produce engaging, entertaining virtual programs that give our customers the tools they need to succeed and thrive in a fast-moving cloud world. The team is in Corporate Marketing.
The Role
The SAP Global Customer Adoption and Events team is looking for an experienced virtual event, video and television show producer with strong, effective project management, communication and presentation skills. The role requires creativity and an ability to deliver projects under tight deadlines with varying budgets. You will be asked to help conceptualize, create and oversee production end to end for “live” and recorded virtual events and digital programming as well as product launches and news announcements.
You will work closely across organizations and solutions/products to support the creation of Tier 1 global events and marketing moments that are human, simple and prescriptive. The role will support SAP’s biggest events and forms a core part of SAP’s digital-first marketing strategy. The role requires an inclusive, open-minded producer and a creative problem-solver in a fast-paced, often changing production environment. The role requires strong organizational skills partnered with a willingness to help evolve SAP’s digital and brand narrative. The ability to turn technology stories into human, outcome-focused videos is much desired.
The candidate should have a proven track record producing and supporting video content production with event and marketing experience greatly appreciated. You should be innovative and bring fresh, new production ideas to the creative table. The role requires a strong storyteller, someone who can deliver high production values using state of the art digital technology with top agencies.
Requirements
- Attention to detail with the ability to think boldly and inventively.
- Understanding of video production budgets and production timelines required.
- Good communication skills, a clear vision of how to tell a digital story and an ability to find the best solution to keep the project moving forward.
- Strategic and pragmatic with strong decision-making skills.
- Experience with both small and large project management. You are flexible yet able to develop processes to scale and repeat high-level digital production.
- Results-oriented and thrive under pressure.
- A healthy mix of agency and corporate experience in a digital video production environment. Broadcast television experience in journalism or entertainment is a bonus.
- Solid working knowledge and awareness of the latest streaming and platform tech and television production will be given preference.
- Ability and experience managing tv production/digital agencies is a major benefit.
- Proficiency in German language a plus.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 117,100 - 243,400 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
