What you’ll do:

As an Apprentice Developer for SAP Cloud ALM, you will be an integral part of our Kafka team, contributing to the development of groundbreaking applications and services on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). SAP Cloud ALM, our flagship solution, plays a pivotal role in supporting the complete application lifecycle for all SAP solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with our dedicated SCRUM team to build proof-of-concept (POC) applications, ensuring the continuous evolution and enhancement of our platform.

Master principles for scalable and resilient applications (Cloud-Native Development), engage in collaborative, automated, and continuously improving workflows (DevOps Practices) and contribute to seamless software updates and improvements (CI/CD Implementation).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the SAP Cloud ALM development Kafka team to develop innovative apps as POCs.

• Collaborate with the SCRUM team to contribute to the end-to-end development lifecycle of SAP Cloud ALM.

• Gain hands-on experience in Java microservices development, focusing on event-driven communication with Apache Kafka.

• Assist in the creation of microservices, libraries, and user interfaces, playing a key role in shaping the future of SAP Cloud ALM.

Join our dynamic and innovative Customer eXperience & Solutions (CXS) team, where we are dedicated to developing cutting-edge products and solutions that drive digital transformation for our customers. As part of the CXS Development, Technology, and Infrastructure team within Customer Solution Support & Innovation (CSI) in the Product Engineering (PE) board area, we are the thought leaders in Application Lifecycle Management.
