SAP NS2 Support Controller – Virtual

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP NS2 offers a streamlined, secure adoption of SAP to the most security-conscious organizations across all industries – from commercial entities in regulated industries including utilities, financial services, healthcare, to organizations within government and defense agencies. In this role as an SAP NS2 Controller, you are part of the SAP NS2 finance team supporting the Support business at SAP NS2 as your primary focus. The SAP NS2 Support business has continually grown over the past several years, making up most of the SAP Regulated Industries Market Unit business in this area. In this role, the main tasks are performing the Financial Forecast, monitoring the performance, financial close, contract reconciliation, driving action plans and budget creation. As the Trusted Partner to this team, he/she bears responsibility for overseeing the end-to-end financial processes for the business. This position also works closely with local and global colleagues in achieving controlling initiatives including alignment on revenues and expenses, and implementation of processes to streamline the business. In addition to your Support Controlling responsibilities, you will be asked to support the NS2 finance team in other areas to get exposure to the rest of the NS2 business, provide enablement, and support to others on the team.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the P&L accurately reflects the financial performance of the organization. Working closely and coordinating with various Finance partners including Revenue Recognition, R2R, Commercial, Operations and various controlling and finance teams.
- Responsible for month end and quarter end closing processes related to Support Revenue controlling while working closely with the responsible finance members. Ensure overall accuracy and timeliness of financial results.
- Responsible for forecasting costs, working closely with the regional Controller(s), Support business leaders.
- Working with Various Controlling teams in the communication, reporting and tracking of financial metrics.
- Prepare and present financial analysis to provide insight and foresight for management in attainment of their goals.
- Ad Hoc finance projects and analysis for different stakeholders – NA Finance, Specialized Controlling, CFO and COO.
- Drive reconciliation efforts between SAP and NS2 to ensure alignment and any necessary corrective action.
- Driving continuous improvement process, acting as real orchestrator, and showing an ability to connect across various layers in the organization, especially in the context of simplification/automation.
Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor of Science Degree; 10 + years of experience can be in lieu of a degree
- MBA and/or CPA is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong team player. Comfortable to collaborate with all hierarchy levels of the organization
- Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral presentation abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Strong understanding of SAP IT systems and applications (BW, ERP, Analytics for Office, SAC)
- SAP Support Controlling knowledge is a plus
Work Experience
- Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in Finance/Accounting or Controlling with bachelor’s function or 3-8 years w/master’s degree
- Proven ability to drive business transformation and execution against ambitious milestones

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 99,000 - 216,000 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
