About the job
As a Senior Software Engineer (Java) at Aspire, you will be writing and testing code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services.
What you’ll do
- Building event-driven micro services using Java 11, Spring Boot and Kafka Skills
- Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications and delivering high-availability and performance
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- Collaborating with the QA team to ensure everything works as it should
- Mentor associates or junior developers
What you’ll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications and delivering high-availability and performance
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
