About the job
As a Back-End Software Engineer (Migration), at Aspire you will be part of a talented software team that works on Digital Onboarding Portal, Payment Gateway, and other applications. You will be working in an agile software development environment following all the best practices like TDD, Lean, CI/CD, Microservices.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements.
- Develop and implement RESTful APIs, ETL jobs, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of the system.
- Develop and maintain automated tests, integration tests, and deployment pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to code quality standards.Contribute to the design and architecture of new systems and features.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a preference for Java/Scala proficiency.
- Experience in designing and architecting systems, encompassing design patterns, scaling, and reliability considerations.
- Experience in creating and configuring ETL jobs, with knowledge of Spark technology considered beneficial.
- Experience in Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in managing software components on cloud platforms such as Azure, Oracle, or AWS.
- Familiarity with SDLC standards, code reviews, GIT, and operations.
