Job Title: Senior Project Consultant – Development
Location: Plano, TX
Purpose and Objective:
SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Senior Project Consultant – Development at our Plano, TX location to develop and implement processes to support the successful delivery of SAP products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.
Expectations and Tasks:
Utilizes SAP technologies and systems to drive planning and execution of releases from concept to GA. Ensure LEAN methodologies are understood and put into practice properly in context of LEAN projects together with Product Team. Implement Project Management (e.g., PMI, LDM) concepts, processes, and technologies. Internally recognized as a specialist in project management. Actively participates in the project and development community. Utilize LEAN practices, methods, and tools. Manage a project and coordinate a LEAN project as Scrum Master. Apply project management methodologies, including Project Planning, Kick-off meeting, Leading Teams without formal authority, Risk-, and change- management, and Commitment Management. Provide stakeholders with transparency on project status, active alignment with stakeholders, and ensure timely escalation. Support project delivery according to program specific goals (scope, time, quality, budget) ready for customer use. Contribute to continuous improvement by leading retrospectives and forwarding impediments into the CIP process. Plan and direct schedules and may monitor budget/spending.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
Experience must involve 4 years in the following:
- Project management processes including planning tasks, risk management, time management, quality management, monitoring and reporting, documenting, and record keeping;
- Agile software development methodologies;
- Microsoft business suite applications including PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams;
- Microsoft Atlassian tools including Confluence and Jira;
- Plan and execute security scan vulnerabilities;
- Procurement business commerce processes and functions;
- Project management with Cloud technologies;
- Manage global projects across time zones.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $123,904 – $210,584. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $140,800 - $239,300. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
