We are looking for an accomplished SAP IT Specialist who is well versed in delivering consistent, high-quality results to join our IT M&A CoE team, to secure the success of the planning and execution of SAP’s M&A transactions, including post merger integrations and carve-outs.
What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Head of IT M&A Client and Infrastructure, the M&A Specialist will focus on securing the success of the SAP M&A IT CoE (Center of Excellence). This includes the following:
- Coordinate M&A workstreams and initiatives in the area of IT Client and Infrastructure (End User devices, Network, E-Mail, Directory Services, Collaboration Tools, etc.)
- Understand in detail the acquired company’s IT landscape and understand interdependencies between systems
- Develop and execute a migration roadmap for IT Client and Infrastructure components
- Collaborate with various SAP experts to coordinate the migration of the acquired company IT landscape to SAP
- Drive issue resolution together with the team and utilize the expert network
- Develop internal tool and scripts to facilitate the execution of M&A integration projects
What you bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication / presentation skills to effectively manage critical situations
- Very strong ability and eagerness to learn new technology and processes
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- IT Project Management skills and customer-facing experience
- Strong Understanding of IT Client infrastructure components (Laptop imaging, email service, collaboration tools, Office Networks)
- Knowledge of the underpinning technologies:
- Microsoft: Active Directory, Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint
- Atlassian: Confluence and Jira
- Fluency both written and spoken in English
Ideally:
- 2+ years of experience in a technical role at SAP
- Ideally: Knowledge of coding and scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, PHP)
- SAFe Agile certification is an advantage
- ITIL certification is an advantage
