What You'll Do
As an Ariba Strategic Procurement Consultant, you will have the opportunity to be part of an agile team. You will have the following tasks and responsibilities:
1. Ariba Implementation and Optimization:
• Implementation and configuration of Ariba procurement solutions, with special focus on Ariba Strategic Procurement and Supplier Management
• Customize Ariba functionalities to align with the specific needs and processes of SAPs Global Procurement Organization (GPO)
• Provide ongoing support and optimization of the Ariba platform to enhance efficiency and user experience.
2. Strategic Procurement:
• Demonstrate expert knowledge in Ariba (Guided) Sourcing and Ariba Contract Modules
• Consult SAP GPO and other lines of business on best practices and implement aligned features and processes.
• Train and support internal customers on using our solutions effectively
3. Strategic Vendor Management:
• Demonstrate expert knowledge in Ariba SLP, SIPM and Ariba Risk
• Ideally have also good knowledge of MDG-S and it’s integration with Ariba SLP
• Consult SAP GPO and other lines of business on best practices and implement aligned features and processes.
• Train and support internal customers on using our solutions effectively
4. Ariba Reporting and Analytics:
• Develop and generate reports using Ariba's reporting tools to track and analyze key performance indicators.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on Ariba analytics to optimize configurations and processes
• Have a basic understanding of SAP SAC or Procurement Data Warehouse
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate with IT teams, finance, legal, and other stakeholders to integrate Ariba into cross-functional processes.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of Ariba Strategic Procurement and Supplier Management with other enterprise and partner systems.
• Lead, manage and coordinate implementation projects in close alignment with the Product Owner.
6. Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure that Ariba configurations and processes comply with organizational policies and industry regulations.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with Ariba implementation and usage.
• Support and propose solutions and implementations to cover legal requirements.
What You Bring
We seek people with distinctive academic credentials, strategic thinking, superior problem-solving skills and a strong professional track record of results. In addition, we place high value on relevant personal qualities: resourcefulness, tenacity, high energy and self-confidence.
We are looking for at least 6 years’ professional work experience. At least 1 projects of 1 year or more, preferably in a leading role, in the adoption of procure-to-pay solutions.
• Academic degree in Information Technology or Software Engineering
• Experience with procurement solutions, especially Strategic Procurement and Supplier Management.
• Proficient and deep understanding of source-to-contract processes.
• Proficient in one or more SAP Ariba implementations
• Disciplined and structured implementations methods with a focus on application management for change rather than for perfection.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in English language
• Ability to work in an international, virtual team and act as “team player”
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and solutions
• Strong focus on customer orientation with a strong focus on outcome
• Ability to work across board area boundaries and teams
• Moderation & orchestration skills
• Analytical and logical skills
• Very good interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills up to senior executive level
• Strong presentation skills and ability to create compelling storylines for executive consumption
• High level of motivation, flexibility and agility
