What you’ll do
Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding the Company’s annual revenue and booking quota within an assigned geographical territory. Identifies, develops and retains new business relationships. Develops sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling and leveraging third party relationships. Reports to the Regional Sales Director.
· Achieve sales objectives primarily through selling Concur travel and expense software solutions to new customers
· Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow up, networking and partner relationships
· Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation and close
· Work with pre-sales team when technical or product support is required
· Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about Concur’s products and services
· Develop and maintain an understanding of the territory, marketplace, competitive offerings and other business issues relevant to the position
· Use effective time and territory management to maximize results
· Develop and maintain relationships with Concur partners and other third parties to increase opportunities
· Respond to RFPs/RFIs, coordinating and organizing input from multiple sources within Concur
· Document daily sales activities in sales force automation tool, prepare accurate reports and forecasts, manage pipeline and perform other tasks necessary to drive sales revenue and communicate activities to sales management
· Be an active team player both on the sales team and throughout Concur to help meet company objectives
· Provide feedback from field experience to internal cross-functional teams with regard to product, selling, and competitive matters
· Interacts with sales, marketing and external customers
· Operates under moderate supervision with frequent reviews of work
· Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies

· Demonstrated ability to consistently generate revenue and exceed quota by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective business, sales, and marketing plans.
· Demonstrated knowledge and ability to implement a successful sales process that generates revenue.
· Demonstrated knowledge of software direct and re-seller sales channels.
· Strong ability to create sales presentations messages, position statements, and other sales collateral.
· Strong knowledge of industry travel and expense products.
· Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast revenue monthly, quarterly, and annually.
· Proven ability to successfully manage a regional budget.
· Demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate complex contracts.
· Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain an effective follow up system to ensure timely and accurate handling of information requests.
· Demonstrated ability to successfully resolve situations that are broadly defined, complex, diverse, and occasionally unprecedented.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Demonstrated ability to read, analyse, and interpret complex contracts, proposals, and other sales related documents.
· Successful experience creating and presenting sales programs to a diverse audience.
· Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
· Flexibility in work schedule is required.
· Various means of travel may be required, which may include air travel.
