Meet your team: The Digital customer segment is one of the most important growth engines for SAP – one that has consistently been growing at double-digit growth. To capitalize SAP’s market potential, we formed a new Global Digital organization to focus on scaling our reach and support to customers in cross-segment leveraging digital modalities in revamped Digital Hubs around the world.
The SAP Strategy and Operations is responsible for setting the global strategy and aligned execution for the Digital organization, designing and driving strategic growth programs, ensuring business operational excellence, and managing the SAP Digital communication strategy.
Expectations & Tasks
The Go-To-Market and Growth Communications intern is expected to support various initiatives of the SAP Digital Hub team and will be working closely with SAP Digital Hub leadership team. Our team is looking for a strong communicator who wants to work on various tasks within the field of program management, communication, content creation and amplification. Curiosity and a passion for creativity are traits we highly value.
The intern is expected to support the team with various tasks. See examples of tasks, although not limited to:
- Collaborate with various stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Presales, Partner Management, Marketing,) to ensure flawless execution of customer events
- Creative content creation from conception to execution - so you should have an eye for creating stand out messaging.
- Support in creation of communication plan and assets for internal channels, such as newsletters, presentations, videos, news and ideas of your own
- You will be given a high degree of creative freedom and responsibility to develop personally and grow
- Creative storytelling, expert in video editing and designing assets and templates
- Project management skills
Skills / Competencies
The successful candidate must have a breadth of experience in communications and a passion for connecting people with information in new and creative ways. You are an independent worker, but effective at collaborating with others and flexible to take on new and varied tasks.
- Excellent communication skills including:
- Is good at managing projects with multiple stakeholders expecting progress updates
- Fluent in both oral and written English
- Business writing skills
- Understands how to message across different lines of business and cultural boundaries
- Able to turn ideas and concepts into visually relevant and effective collateral
- Excellent Word and PowerPoint skills. Basic Excel skills
- A collaborator who can work with a global team virtually
- You have strong organization skills and an independent, creative and solution-oriented working style
- Know how to use a video editing program (Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, ...) or if you find it easy to learn new programs.
- Curiosity to learn and a desire to bring fresh thinking/innovation to the team
What you bring
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study: business informatics, media informatics, digital media, IT, communication sciences, economics, marketing, or comparable courses of study
- Mandatory fluency in English.
- Proficiency in additional languages is considered a plus.
Educational Requirements
- Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited University
- Preferred: Business/economics/ technology/communications/strategy or marketing background
- Open to other academic backgrounds as well.
Qualifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Experience in a project management tool will be an additional benefit, but not a requirement
• Previous work experience preferred
• You have experience in graphic design and are familiar with photo and video editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Canva or others
