About Customer Success Service Academy
SAP Customer Success Service’s team supports our customers in their digital transformation. We sustain the adoption of SAP software and ensure that our customers can successfully plan, implement, integrate, and operate their software, including continuous improvement, quality management, problem solving and knowledge transfer.
The Customer Success Service Academy is up to 2-year graduate program to start your career in the Services Customer Success Board Area. This program consists of classroom-based learning with rotation opportunities before settling on one focus area within the business.
Throughout the Program you will build the foundations needed for success in the Services’ business. Our rotations enable you to gain comprehensive experience and understanding within different lines of business such as consulting, project management, technical and solution support.
We are looking for an individual to join us under the Services Solution team, commencing March 2024.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The APJ regional Services Solution Associate (SSA) – Cloud Services is a revenue generating sales role responsible for supporting the overall growth of Cloud business leveraging SAP Services portfolio.
The role is responsible for defining, implementing and tracking the APJ Line of Business (LoB) regional Services Strategy in close collaboration with Services GTM team, Market unit services leadership, LoB specialist sales leadership, Market unit SSAs (Services Solution Advisor) and Services Partner managers. He/She is accountable and responsible for the overall bookings and revenue for the LoB Services business at the APJ regional level.
The SSA will collaborate with APJ individual country/market units to develop and lead LoB business planning that generates 4x pipeline opportunity. Take Ownership of strategic client relationships for key opportunities, support and track budgets by month, quarter and annual targets. A key focus for the SSA is engagement in ongoing creation and execution of strategies that enable SAP APJ LoB subscription market growth, introducing value add services and an evolution of services to the changing market needs. Key attributes of the role embody Cloud market thought leadership, LoB and services subject matter expertise, familiarity across the main APJ region unique country markets, successful track record of planning, forecasting, leading and achieving financial targets.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Collaborate with the Services GTM team to build and execute business plan, aligned to the SAP LoB License strategy and end to end Services strategy
- Collaborate with the Market Unit Services leadership to support each individual market unit LoB services business plan creation and execution
- Work closely with SAP APJ regional solutioning centre and delivery teams to identify and present Sales plays and sales collaterals aligned to the overall GTM plan and strategy
- Participate in APJ regional forecasting
- Tracking and engagement in each Market unit to proactively address issues to avoid risk to deal closure
- Collaborate with SAP APJ GTM Demand generation and Market Unit teams to build Demand gen plans that secure a predictable rolling four quarter (R4Q) pipeline for services sales
- Act as an ambassador for LoB in internal and external events, partner and customer interactions
- Customer first mindset and experience in delivering business outcome to SAP LoB customers
- Create trusted relationships with strategic customers, partners and SAP peers
- Ensure transparency and predictability of the business on all levels.
- Maintain and adhere to SAP business integrity and compliance standards
- Expert tracking and realization of financial targets (bookings, revenue) and other strategic KPIs
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- The ideal candidate would have 0-3 years of relevant experience in SAP LoB portfolio sales or program management with specific experience in services complimenting to enhance cloud subscription adoption and consumption.
- Knowledge and experience with SAP LoB portfolio of cloud solutions preferred
- Knowledge of the APJ Cloud market competition especially intelligent spend management preferred
- Successful experience in developing and closing sales of consulting and services to support cloud subscription solutions preferred
- Track record of Pipeline and Opportunity Management success preferred
- Program management working together in diverse teams to develop and close service sales preferred
- Evidence of successful deal crafting and strategy development preferred
- Strong stakeholder management & influencing skills for broad cross function and multi country teams preferred
- C-Level Communication and Presentation experience preferred
- Results-driven, high-energy, focused and disciplined individual
