The role:
We are looking for a motivated consultant to help us drive and shape our Vendor and Service Management PMO activities within IE BS Solution Management by assisting the leadership in the vendor quality and quantity management, as well as supporting on license management tasks.
Aspiration for the new joiner is to grow into a Vendor & Service Manager dealing with leadership stakeholders (internal and external) in the future and driving innovation and continuous improvement for IT services delivery.
Reporting to the Head of Solution Support within IE BS Solution Management, the specific responsibilities are (but not limited to) PMO activities ensuring that our vendors are delivering to agreed quality and quantity standards, tracking defined SLA/KPI, highlighting key risks and issues as well as fostering an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
What you’ll do:
- Improve Program Governance: Help develop and enhance rules, processes, and tools for various aspects like organization, risk management, quality, project management, training, and measurement.
- Enhance Vendor and Service Management: Actively engage and drive continuous improvements in Vendor and Service Management, including sourcing, onboarding and steering
- Manage Tools and Contracts: Take charge of our tools and solutions. This involves handling contracts, software licenses, and dealings with vendors. It also includes budgeting, ordering, renewing, upgrading, canceling, and decommissioning.
- Identify and Manage Risks: Help find and deal with anything that might get in the way of our goals. If there are roadblocks or risks, assist in addressing them.
- Promote Team Collaboration: Encourage teams to work together effectively. Make sure that the strategy and the actual work align well.
- Support Decision-Making: Assist senior management in making decisions. This includes helping with communication and implementing resolutions. Coordinate presentations for board-related matters.
- Work Independently: Take responsibility for your specific area of work, following the set policies and processes.
- Supporting license management topics for applications run by IE BS Solution Management (coordination and communication with external stakeholders)
What you bring:
Experience:
-
- Up to 3 years of proven track record in IT projects (SAP is an advantage)
- Strong interest in our business technology, ideally also for Vendor Management, Financials, Services, with IT or Finance related background
- Good IT consulting and PMO skills, incl. stakeholder management, business process definitions, management reporting & working in dynamic project environments.

Education:

- Bachelor or Master Degree in computer engineering, business administration or similar degree in a relevant field of expertise
- Experience in MS Office Applications such as Outlook, Excel and PPT
Languages: Excellent knowledge of English in speaking and writing, German is beneficial
