About The Team
The SAP Data & Analytics Product Marketing team is a team of highly passionate and motivated individuals with complementing skillsets. Curiosity coupled with collaborating plus a can-do attitude is what best describes this team.

The Role
This new product marketing role will lead the Data Migration and Modernization go-to-market including core messaging, web strategy, marketing campaigns, product launches, event content, and customer stories. You will report to the VP of Product Marketing to develop and execute the marketing strategy to enable customers to migrate and modernize to the cloud and begin their business data fabric journey. With thousands of SAP Business Warehouse and SAP HANA customers keen to strategically modernize to the cloud, this role will directly impact their journey and adoption of SAP Datasphere and SAP HANA Cloud.
This role will work closely with product management, solution management, sales, field marketing, and partner marketing. If you are passionate about data fabric technologies and a leader that can unite teams, this role is made for you.
Experience
- Proven record of successfully defining and landing value proposition, messaging, and positioning of data and analytics products.
- Excellent understanding of data and analytics market trends, technology, and use cases; proven ability to develop a scalable go-to-market strategy that results in accelerated adoption and consumption.
- Experience building a strong partnership with product and sales teams to promote adoption of data and analytics solutions.
- Ability to create always-on marketing plans and campaigns that win mindshare, increase awareness, and drive product adoption.
- Experience defining customer journeys and content strategies for data and analytics audiences.
- Ability to articulate and present complex topics to senior leadership audience.
Requirements
- 4-7+ years of experience in product marketing or solution marketing.
- Experience with cloud is a must and experience with data management/data warehousing is preferred.
- Experience marketing technical products to both technical and business buyers.
- Experience with SAP BW and SAP HANA Cloud is an advantage.
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent); Master's/MBA preferred.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 97,000 - 213,800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
