What you’ll do
Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - East Market Unit, Demand Generation
Location: Newtown Square, PA
Expected Start Date: January 2024
Contract Duration: 12 months
Work Hours: 40 hours per week (January to June); 20+ hours per week (July to December)
In this internship experience, you will support SAP’s East Market Unit on demand generation under SAP’s Chief Operating Officer in the East. Within this engaging and educational internship, you will have a plethora of tasks to complete that will help you better understand what demand generation and marketing is within a large company. These responsibilities include:
- Coordinating weekly enablement calls, where you will be in charge of sending the MS Teams invites to the attendees within the East market unit, as well as ensuring that the meetings are being executed and recorded.
- Creating and editing the meeting recap email, which should include a summary of the meeting discussion as well as the recording
- Assisting employees with topology information for the partners in the East Market Unit
- Driving demand generation through email, and internet marketing
- Working closely with the sales team, the COO, and the Sales Program Director to collaborate with demand generation (enablement, calling blitzes, sales presentations)
- Assisting in the overall development of the overall go-to market strategy and other marketing communications
- Working with SAP systems/applications in order to support the function of demand generation
- Taping into creative thinking in order to drive new demand generations tactics
What you bring
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- A Junior/Senior pursuing their bachelor’s in business at an accredited college or university
- A student in good standing with a minimum of a 3.5 GPA
- An in depth understanding of MS Teams and how to operate these applications
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Digitally savvy
- Working knowledge on demand generation and marketing within a company
- An adaptable and goal-oriented individual with an eagerness to learn
- A self-motivated and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- A perceptive individual with strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
