Are you a creative and strategic Product Marketer with an interest in the future of enterprise applications and platforms? The SAP Build team is seeking an exceptional marketer to drive developer engagement and acquisition, alongside growth of our application development portfolio. In this role you will join a team known for driving strategy, end-to-end execution, having an “owner” mindset, and driving collaboration with a diverse array of stakeholders around the world.
Apps are critical to our customers business needs, as are the tools that power them. Developers have adopted a variety of technologies to address the evolving requirements of modern, cloud-native apps and have formed online and offline communities around these technologies. This role will focus on engaging existing technical audiences and communities to build awareness, trial, and acquisition for SAP Build.
The Role
Our team is responsible for Product Marketing and Solution Management for SAP Build and AI. This role is focused on developer marketing, and customer program for SAP Build. As a Marketing Strategy Specialist, your work will directly impact SAP Build’s success with its core audience - developers. You will help define, validate, guide, execute, and communicate the value proposition of SAP Build for developers. You will provide an outside-in view of the market, determine new tactics, engage and grow the community, build customer advocacy and support field enablement efforts.

Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end strategy for developer marketing and execution of developer programs including digital and influencer marketing.
- Design and create key initiatives/programs and drive the execution of these initiatives working with cross-functional teams.
- Build active advocacy amongst the developer community, including external communities.
- Work with the SAP developer community and T&I teams to continuously monitor and optimize digital channels.
- Stay up-to-date with developer tools and market trends, using this knowledge to inform strategy.
- Leverage experience in driving developer communities to foster engagement and growth.
Education & Qualifications
- University Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science / Information Technology / Business Administration.
- Good understanding of SAP Build and SAP pro-code solutions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of digital marketing.
- Familiarity with current developer tools and market trends.
- Experience in driving developer communities.
- 5+ years of work experience.
- 2+ years of customer facing experience.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 132,300 - 275,200 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
