To achieve the next level of success, we are looking for a Marketing Specialist in the Industry Solutions Marketing organization. This person will assist in defining and executing marketing strategy in alignment with the overall industry GTM model
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Work with Industry Solutions Marketing Leaders to craft and demonstrate a visionary digital story for their industries across the customer life cycle to show how SAP enables organizations address their business opportunities and challenges
- Knowledgably collaborate with industry thought leaders and solution experts to jointly develop industry relevant messaging and positioning that will be integrated into marketing programs and campaigns
- Collaborate closely with regions and market units on marketing campaigns
- Develop core industry relevant assets and ensure respective rollout and availability to global/regional marketing program managers and execution teams
- Drive awareness of SAP as an innovative company through creative social media and digital marketing approaches
- Support yearly Industry operational GTM, portfolio, and planning process
- Support reporting / analysis to recommend fact-based marketing approaches.
- Ensure flawless execution and associated change management of the above in a simplified methodology
- Work from an SAP office in the US
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.
- Experienced with marketing strategy and digital marketing.
- Well versed with marketing to a variety of industries.
- Fluent in English language
- Experienced written and presentation skills
- Strong entrepreneurial skills, ability to “think out of the box” and drive innovation from idea through execution, to completion
- Effectively drive execution within highly matrixed landscape
- Strong ability to collaborate across virtual teams to achieve combined goals
- Skilled in storytelling, positioning and messaging the business value of technology solutions
- Convincing attitude / presence & drive with strong focus on results and execution
- Multicultural work experience in several organizations, countries or locations is a plus
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 3 to 4 years expertise crafting and executing marketing and content strategy and associated initiatives, and developing messaging and core assets to build market awareness and support pipeline creation working with regional and country sales and marketing teams
- Digital marketing and social media experience is desired
Preferred - to ramp up with a local mentor. However, as many team members are remote this may be moot

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $65,000 - $100,000 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
