Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Services Engagement Expert at our Plano, TX location responsible for overall orchestration of delivery of contracted services to premium engagement contracts such as SAP MaxAttention, ActiveAttention, SAP Active Embedded or Value Assurance.
Expectations and Tasks:
Establish and oversee long-term engagement customer relations covering the entire solution life cycle, including discovery, innovation, design, build and operations. Coordinate the delivery of relevant premium engagement services to foster successful adoption of SAP solutions and to pro-actively prevent and resolve critical situations. Provide support and coordination across all SAP solutions. Responsible for execution of a comprehensive service plan. Support analysis of current customer situation, maturity of SAP solution operations, and IT service delivery. Engagement Setup with the scope of the engagement with the customer. Engagement roadmap, innovation roadmap, focus areas and high-level delivery plan. Understand goals and key performance indicators for the engagement; governance model; SAP’s collaboration platform at the customer. Understand the initial action plan to the customer which is the starting point for the engagement. Contribute to executive meetings, provide an overview of the engagement contribution to demonstrate the value delivered. Understand engagement performance expectations and adhere to delivery standards and KPIs. Support customer retention and contract renewals. Support the communication of relevant topics between the customer’s organization and SAP during the engagement lifecycle. Support finding relevant SAP portfolio items to maximize customer value whilst supporting SAP delivery efficiency. Understand the long-term engagement plan based on customer’s solutions, projects, and top issues. Highlight short term needs when having to avoid issues to the front office or account team. Identify and assess potential issues and risks related to SAP solutions and associated business processes.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a three or four year Bachelor’s degree. The company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
Experience must involve 5 years in the following:
- SAP Solutions customer incident management;
- S/4HANA Architecture including adoption and migration strategy;
- Engineer services for end-to-end projects or focused phased activities, including design, optimization, assessment, technical integration, validation, operations, escalations, training, and workshops;
- Unit, functional, regression, and integration tests;
- Design, implement, and execute SAP Change Control Management tools using SAP Cloud ALM or Solution Manager Change Request Management; and
- SAP Go Live Analysis and Verification Services.
Travel: Position requires up to 80% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites nationwide. Telecommuting permitted. Position must be based within continental U.S.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $153,440 - $260,880. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $191,800 - $326,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
