The SAP SuccessFactors marketing team oversees brand to demand to adoption and advocacy for SAP’s global HR software solutions, SuccessFactors – the global cloud standard to unleash the power of human potential to Change Work for Good.
Who you are, what you'll do:
The Head of Brand Awareness and Advocacy, SAP SuccessFactors is responsible for leading and evolving the SuccessFactors brand capabilities with a focus on strategic storytelling rooted in brand truths. We are looking for a passionate creative leader who can encourage risk-taking – someone with big ideas and the ability to sell them into internal partners. We value diversity, energetic problem solving, and passion to motivate and develop people. You love driving change, have a positive, collaborative spirit, and a proven ability to recognize activity vs impact. You are adept at working in a fast-paced environment, exhibit strong collaboration skills to effectively work across multiple internal teams, and are exceptional at scaling from conceptual creative and brand strategy through to execution and ongoing management.
Key Objectives:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive SAP SuccessFactors brand strategy to build a brand people love. Specifically:
- Grow reputation: Increase Awareness, Sentiment & Perception
- Drive Brand Consistency & Memorable Experiences
- Build Affinity & Fandom
- Drive brand initiatives, positioning SAP SuccessFactors as the leader in HR software solutions.
- Increase awareness and generate interest in SAP's HR solutions for organizations of all sizes and across industry verticals.
- Cultivate a high-performance, data-driven culture, fostering growth, collaboration, and innovation.
- Implement new programs that center around customer storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of professionals, promoting continuous professional development and a culture of excellence, collaboration, recognition, and growth.
- Develop and execute impactful brand strategies.
- Foster a KPI-driven culture focused on:
- Aided & Unaided Awareness
- Brand Consideration and Preference
- Brand Positivity
- Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic counsel and brand expertise to support objectives.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum of 5 years (or 8 years in lieu of degree) of brand experience that showcases innovation and advocacy for best-in-class creative work.
- Strong experience leading and developing high-performing remote teams, fostering a positive team culture and community.
- Proven track record of building and nurturing collaborative relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders, including creative agencies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project planning skills, with a track record of executing complex initiatives on time and within budget.
- Demonstrated ability to distill complex ideas into compelling narratives, engaging diverse audiences through impactful storytelling.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and skilled in asking incisive questions to clarify objectives and drive alignment.
- Experience leading creative work and brand strategy in an agency environment, within the enterprise software/cloud services industry, and/or at a consumer brand.
This position will report to the Global Vice President and Head of Marketing, SAP SuccessFactors.
Location:
Remote but proximity to one of SAP offices in North America (USA and Canada).

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 151,600-353,100 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
