The Sr. Director of Analyst Relations will lead a talented team of AR professionals as well as lead our analyst engagement for SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role will have the opportunity to rethink and innovate the craft of AR to ensure that the analyst community understands the holistic SAP strategy. Analyst firms including Gartner, IDC, Futurum Group and more, have taken notice of SAP’s unique position to offer integrated solutions across technologies such as AI, hyperautomation, data fabrics, analytics, and planning and see tremendous growth opportunity and are ready to engage with us.
Key responsibilities
Lead and manage a team environment with shared ownership and collaboration as a primary goal.
Support the success of your direct reports and the larger team by helping to identify development opportunities, providing timely feedback and coaching, and supporting team members to achieve their goals.
Strategically engage with analysts to bring insights to inform and influence SAP strategies and foster mutually beneficial relationships.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and executives (including the SAP Executive Board to shape messaging and go-to-market strategies aligned with analyst research and market trends that is aligned with SAP’s strategy.
Successfully manage key evaluative research such as Gartner Magic Quadrants, IDC MarketScapes, Forrester Waves, and many other analyst reports, blogs and social content.
Understand SAP’s competitive differentiators and how to best leverage them across analysts’ research portfolios.
Requirements
10+ years successfully leading a strategic product portfolio or broad scale transformation work.
10+ years in a leadership role including working with senior executives.
Excellent communications and writing skills.
Passion for building and maintaining relationships.
A passion for championing the voice of the analysts and being a source of business neutrality.
Creative thinking to develop innovative solutions for day-to-day obstacles and opportunities.
Ability to influence & lead cross functional teams with an emphasis on being a relationship builder; works well across functions and at all levels of an organization.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 140400 - 320800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
