PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
IE BS Cloud Runway Engineering Hub is responsible for the End-to-End solution delivery supporting SAP’s core Sales Deal Execution business processes. Here we act as the Business’ trusted advisor and expert, driving together the simplification of business processes based on a user-centric approach. Do you enjoy working on meaningful projects? We are looking for bright minds to participate and contribute their great ideas through co-innovation and solution implementation projects empowered through SAP’s cutting-edge technologies to enable SAP as The Intelligent Enterprise. Customer Experience, End-User Centricity and Immaculate Work Ethics is the key.
You will engage with sales business and your feature, scrum team in order to design, implement and evolve solutions for sales processes to boost SAP's sales and revenue. Leveraging SAP's latest Cloud- and Platform technologies. SAP's account executives and sales teams are your primary persona and customer. Your work has a direct impact to SAP’s top line growth, targeted to reach more than €35B by 2025.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- As a product owner for sales solutions you will be part of an agile scrum team within one of our Agile Release Trains (SAFe), assume responsibility for functional decomposition of business requirements, solution evaluation with technical experts of your team.
- Own and manage the product backlog using Jira, Mural and other tools, prioritize it based on your understanding of end users’ and other stakeholders’ pain points and needs
- Consider process flow, end to end value chains and end user experience in your solution design.
- Drive continuous improvements with a focus on automation, stability, usability and maintainability
- Leverage your end user centric mindset and skills, to build intuitive, high-quality solutions for SAP’s sales teams.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills in negotiation and alignment with stakeholders in business and engineering.
- Take ownership of application health and drive automation testing in close collaboration with our Quality experts.
- Develop skills and competencies on latest customer experience solutions, specifically in SAP's solution portfolio.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Academic degree in Engineering/Technology, or Business and Economics
- A passion for technology powered, efficient business solutions and processes
- Practical knowledge engaging with business and engineering teams to understand, decompose, design and deliver business capabilities into software solutions
- Knowledge of SAP broader cloud solution portfolio
- Experience in Agile Software Engineering methodology (scrum, SAFe) and tools for requirements management (e.g. Jira)
- Entry Level proficiency in observability, synthetic user monitoring and the corresponding automation toolsets (e.g. splunk, Octobus)
- Fluent in English, other languages are optional
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Ideally 3-5 years experience with business process design and requirements management as a product owner. Preferable sales or sales related functions.
- Preferably minimum 1 year experience with SAP solution portfolio, customer experience solutions (e.g. Sales or service cloud).
We work remotely and flex work office/remote is also possible.
