Job Title: Technology Senior Consultant

Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Technology Senior Consultant at our Pittsburgh, PA location to support the technical workstream and the coordination of technical stakeholders in an engagement.
Expectations and Tasks:
Explain complex technical aspects to stakeholders, including non- technical audiences. Support coordination of delivery activities with technology partners. Plan and execute solution deployments. Leverage the capabilities of SAP's latest technology platform(s) and reinforce their benefits. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Implement and support the operation of technical system landscapes. Support setup and connectivity of integrated system landscapes (on-premise, cloud and hybrid) by applying state-of-the-art methodologies. Deliver technology components-specific expert consulting. Deliver system optimization services. Support solution proposals and bid management. Support escalated projects. Occasionally takes over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Support line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and training. Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services. Support the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service or support updates to the portfolio. Support in solution testing and issue resolution. Mentor technology consultants.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or a related field of study and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
Experience must involve 4 years in the following:
- Application development using SAPUI5, XML, JavaScript and CSS3;
- OData service integration in UI applications;
- Utilize the SAP Enterprise Portal to create Portal and Knowledge Management content;
- Develop SAP Composite applications using NetWeaver Developer Studio; and
- Design and configure Fiori Launchpad.
Travel: Position requires up to 50% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting permitted.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $106,434 - $164,985. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $114,200 - $194,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
