Purpose and Objective:
Concur Technologies, Inc. seeks a Product Specialist at our Bellevue, WA location to be responsible for end-to-end technical software product lifecycle from release roadmap planning to deployment using Agile methodology for market leading Enterprise B2B Software as a Service (SAAS) product.
Expectations and Tasks:
Plan and refine feature requirements by coordinating with UX designers and Technical Product Managers. Conduct design thinking workshops for customers to gather feedback on user experience of product and to determine pain points. Refine product definition and priorities to improve customer experience and retention rate. Ensure definition of high-quality technical specifications according to customer and user requirements. Describe product backlog which reflects customer and user needs. Oversee project progress by tracking and mitigating risks, resolving dependencies and capacity planning. Ensure improved quality tracking, dependency management, readiness/exit criteria and design review process. Enrich product backlog and support the engineering team and other relevant stakeholders to understand the backlog. Ensure product meets required software product standards such as Accessibility, GDPR and Globalization. Conduct expert testing and validate planned and implemented scope throughout the technical product lifecycle. Contribute to the rollout plan. Participate in the creation of product-related non-coded assets (such as rollout and knowledge transfer material). Contribute to the efficiency, effectiveness and improvement of processes used in own area.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Engineering and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
Experience must involve in the following:
- Drive success, quality, cost management and delivery of software products and features for SAAS, B2B and Cloud software technologies;
- Conduct analysis and design activities and prioritize and describe product backlog;
- Ensure definition of high-quality specifications according to user requirements;
- Ensure delivery of software products per customer requirements, including completion of expert tests and validation of planned and implemented scope;
- Build, launch, implement, and support product initiatives;
- Incorporate customer feedback, client- and partner-facing team input, and analytics into product plans; and
- Facilitate launch and release of new products and features.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $132,454 - $169,830. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $132,454- $196,400. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
