PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Revenue Strategy & Planning team supports our Enterprise Americas Senior Leadership and Distribution Leadership teams with insights and strategic guidance gained from analyzing company data. This team will work directly with Enterprise leadership teams in driving the strategy behind our core objectives within Sales, Marketing, Client Development and supporting distribution growth engines.
AREAS OF FOCUS
The Demand Analyst will work directly with leadership across global distribution marketing teams to drive consistency, transparency and scale. This role will encompass, but not be limited to:
· Identify opportunities to exploit market trends, product activity, marketability and call out risks associated with potential actions.
· Measure the impact of pipeline generation activities across multiple Market Units and understand the root cause behind the success or failure.
· Report on performance of Market Development teams vs targets to ensure commissions payments are aligned with individual performance
· Standardize reporting across multiple functions to implement better consistency and visibility to pipeline generation.
· Develop and deliver on annual planning models and targets, as well as monitoring the effectiveness of the goals against top-line revenue targets.
· Generate summary reports and comprehensive quarterly reviews that highlight the performance across each of the key marketing metrics.
· Model consistent and measurable metrics to look at pipeline forecasting, market penetration, market reach and untapped market opportunities.
· Analyze the current analytics processes and deliverables and work with the supporting functions to improve efficiencies across each team’s ability to drive results.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Economics or similar degree/certifications
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate with business executives.
· Ability to mine, test and analyze data to improve and validate business strategies.
· Capacity to assimilate multiple viewpoints and incorporate into the business objectives.
· Proficient at organizing and prioritizing multiple projects.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
· Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using: Tableau and Excel
· Self-starter attitude and ability to work well within a small direct team – but also provide transparency to larger audiences.
WORK EXPERIENCE
· At least 5 or more years of professional experience working within a marketing, finance, sales operations, business intelligence or equivalent function with exposure to sales, marketing and consulting teams.
· Previous experience within Salesforce, Microsoft Office Applications (Primarily MS Excel), Marketo, or other modeling applications.
· Experience working with marketing and consulting teams on pipeline generation tactics, measuring success and general marketing reporting is a plus.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 97,000 - 213,800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
