The newly created Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations business unit is part of SAP Product Engineering with responsibility across the relevant Sovereign Cloud portfolio of SAP. Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations is collaborating closely with all Board areas to establish a harmonized, scalable, and consistent offering with transparent and standardized deliverables.
YOUR FUTURE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Scrum Lead (f/m/d) within the Infrastructure Engineering department within the Technology & Engineering unit of the newly formed Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations team in the Product Engineering board area for the Shared Management Services Engineering group.
In this role you will support multiple development teams and would be responsible for promoting and supporting agile methodologies by helping teams understand the theory, practices, and values. You will function as a 'servant-leader' for Product Owners and Development Teams to remove impediments at the team-level as well as in scaled agile frameworks to shield the teams from interferences. You will buffer the team against any distracting influences.
You will help teams to evolve to high performing, self-organized agile teams. You will help the Product Owners find techniques for effective product backlog management and knows how to arrange the product backlog in a way that ensures the needed work is well understood so the team can continually make forward progress and maximize value.
You will facilitate all agile events and ensure the respective agile methodology is applied correctly. You will coach teams and other stakeholders in Agile methodologies. You will support the teams' agile journey through continuous improvement and self-organization. You will be responsible for the visibility of team commitments and progress through use of metrics and creation of action plans. You will promote collaboration and interactions within and across teams.
You will support agile transformations across teams. You will promote Agile Software Engineering Practices and can teach teams in how to best apply them. You will be responsible for the team’s health and resolve conflicts (know own limits and when you need to escalate to e.g. manager). You will support the selection of good practices of agile processes on cross-team and cross-product level.
WHAT YOU BRING

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 113900-239300 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
