The Challenge
As a Research Expert in the Global Experience Management Office (XMO) you will be part of the growing XM subject matter expert community that helps SAP take its XM research to the next level.
You will constantly be challenged to come up with new and creative solutions for SAPs most difficult research needs. You will design and run the programs that help us understand our own experience and operational data to build and grow a deeply impactful XM program. The research advisory services, flagship programs and analytics you deliver will strategically advance how SAP ideates, builds, measures, and improves its own experience for employees, customers and partners. You will use your qualitative and quantitative skills to tell stories with data that present comprehensive views of experience with SAP process and products. You will continue to look for opportunities to leverage all XM data as we build a world-class XM Program at SAP.

A Day in the Life
- Deliver world class research expertise, methodology, and analysis to reinforce the use of XM program flagship metrics
- Work with key functional and LOB stakeholders to design & implement XM research to align with strategic priorities, their objects and industry best practices
- Deliver research analysis and results in formats that provide meaningful insights to drive business results
- Craft executive communications to get the main points across quickly
- Execute and develop governance processes for custom research with an emphasis on repeatable survey design, programming, and reporting for functional areas and the LOBs
- Provide expertise, consulting, training, and actionable solutions to execute enterprise level research programs at SAP
- Develop and validate innovative, scalable pre-packaged research solutions that are easily deployed and scaled
- Communicate & establish credibility with internal stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical senior leadership
- Provide post-sales consulting support to customers, this may include survey/assessment design,
- Provide thought-leadership on XM and deliver standards, methodologies and best practices
Your Background
You are a research junkie and you tell stories with data and can demonstrate how you have used data to change thoughts about how things work. You care about understanding the customer/partner and the employee and want to impact better experiences that align strategically with business goals. You want to join a dynamic, rapidly scaling, organization. You know how to deliver a research program with high quality methods, standards and measurable outputs that push understanding and action.
Minimum Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Psychology, Sociology, other Social Sciences, or Marketing
- 10+ years work experience in market research or other custom research methodology experience for large scale enterprises
- Research expertise with qualitative and quantitative research
- Demonstrated success in designing, implementing and managing XM programs and delivering results to Senior Leaders
- Expert-level knowledge of Qualtrics products and demonstrated use to run XM programs at the enterprise level.
- In depth knowledge of advanced statistical techniques, analytics and reporting used in market research such as correlation, regression, KPI metric development, segmentation modeling and algorithms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to tell stories with data and present analysis and insights including trends and opportunities to stakeholders and the business (both technical and non-technical audiences)
- High standard of detail, excellence, professionalism, and role model behavior

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 153,800 - 349,500 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
