Purpose and Objective:
SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Product Expert at our Alpharetta, GA location to be responsible for the success, quality, costs, and delivery of a product as defined in the product portfolio.
Expectations and Tasks:
Build the product road map and corresponding usage plan. Develop and drives the product vision, the road map, and the corresponding usage plan. Make decisions about in-house developments, purchases, or partnerships on product level. Ensure the product delivery: Prioritizes and describes the product backlog. Ensure the delivery of high-quality specifications according to customer and user requirements, with the goal of creating a competitive advantage for SAP. Ensure the delivery of high-quality products pursuant to customer requirements, including the completion of expert tests and validation of the planned and implemented scope across the entire product lifecycle (including the product-related non-coded assets). Work with other teams, such as release management, production, and governance. Coordinate the gathering and integration of feedback from different stakeholders, especially from customers and Solution Management. Ensure the maintenance of the product up until a potential handover.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or a related field and 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
Experience must involve 5 years in the following:
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes within the chemical industries; and
- Integration of MES Systems with SAP ERP based on ISA-95.
Position requires experience in each of the following:
- Setup, configuration, and productive implementation of SAP ERP software (Modules PP, PP-PI, QM and MM);
- Configuration of MES for regulated industries with Digital Signature;
- Design system solutions for manufacturing complying with GxP standards;
- Setup and integrate SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud; and
- Configuration and extension of SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling.
Travel: N/A. Telecommuting permitted.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $162,032 - $275,438. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $205,600- $349,500. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
