Head of Sales (f/m/d) Intelligent Spend and Business Network, SAP CEE

ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Head of Sales Intelligent Spend and Business Network (ISBN) for Central Eastern Europe (CEE) (f/m/d) is responsible for leading, managing, and scaling the ISBN line of business in CEE, consistently attaining revenue and growth targets, provides overall leadership and guidance to the ISBN LoB and successfully orchestrating the collaboration with customers, partners, and multi-functional teams in a multi-country / multi-language setup.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Executes and adopts the GTM strategy for Intelligent Spend and Business Network for Central Eastern Europe in close cooperation with all stakeholders through innovation, market insight, thought leadership, competitive insight, and customer information to deliver on quarterly and annual growth objectives.
- Leads a team of high-caliber sales talent, supports the development of a sustainable CQ+1 and R4Q pipeline, engages customers and partners, and provides guidance and coaching toward achieving sales revenue and growth.
- Builds a network of executive relationships across industry, community, and business groups and with key partners and customers to stay current on issues impacting business and sales, providing meaningful strategic advice to retain and grow their business through the SAP Business Network
- Facilitates individual growth and development of the sales team, setting objectives, performance standards, and priorities, coaching and acting as a role model on sales approaches and account leadership.
- Develops and applies an in-depth understanding of SAP’s sales processes and commercial guidelines and procurement and supply chain industry expertise, including marketplace, strategies and trends, competitors, and competitive tactics to develop an effective short-, mid-, and long-term sales strategy.
- Drives the team towards expected market penetration and customer/partner satisfaction levels while supporting the development of solid references.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3+ years of experience in sales of complex business software / IT solutions / IT consulting
- Proven track record in overachieving in business application software sales for SaaS solutions, preferably experience with the SAP ISBN cloud portfolio
- 2+ years of experience in procurement or with procurement software
- Highly experienced sales leader with high client-facing sales experience and broad-based knowledge.
- Demonstrated success with complex, long-cycle sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative, and competitive market.
- Demonstrate success negotiating complex contracts and reliable quarterly closings.
- Demonstrated knowledge of value-selling methodologies
- Proven abilities in managing highly complex organizations and applying risk-mitigation strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, German, and at least one other Central Eastern European Language
- Sales Experience in German-speaking countries (preferably Austria)
- Knowledge of the Austrian market
- Bachelor or equivalent, master’s is preferred.
