What you'll do
Responsibilities:
- Support our Agile Coach (Scrum Master) in providing guidance to our development teams
- Support in creating new monitoring mechanisms to measure the agile maturity of our teams, while learning more about agile on a larger scale.
- Ensure that all teams are following the defined processes
- Support in guiding the teams toward agile development and establish an agile mindset (not limited to Scrum)
- Create transparency by defining new approaches and documenting them for all teams, hereby influencing the mobile development practices
- Actively support the preparation of various workshops and moderate them if wished
As our Junior Agile Coach you will have the opportunity to:
- Learn the e2e software development lifecycle of mobile apps, from ideation to design until the actual release in the Apple App Store
- Learn how to measure agile maturity and improve agile team setups, ranging from team setups, communication structures or development guidelines
- Learn how processes and projects are successfuly managed
- Learn how to use the number 1 tool in software development life cycle management (Jira) and other commercially used tools
- Learn about different agile techniques and how to use them in modern software development
Moreover, this position will set you up for a career in agile development and teach you about how complex software development can be in large organizations. You will have the opportunity to support wherever help is needed and therefore, grow in all directions. If wished, you can also explore and support in areas of quality assurance or learn the basics on how to develop mobile apps from our experienced colleagues.

What you bring
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Communications, Business Administration, Economics or a related course of study
- Language skills: Fluent in English, German as a plus
- Interested in Software & Mobile Development
- Basic understanding of Agile Development is highly recommended
- Basic understanding of the life cycle of software products
- Keen on learning new approaches to process and project management
- Soft skills: Open minded, curious, results oriented and team player, High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive, structured and communicative

Our mission is to bring the mobile portfolio together in ways that offer customers innovative mobile user experience across their business processes while leveraging latest native technologies and delivering on best of breed capabilities in each market segment.
The Mobile Experience & Engineering unit is the central place for SAP’s mobile app development and everything around mobile technology. In our responsibility lies the holistic, persona-centric mobile portfolio definition, the overall mobile app development, including app lifecycle management plus the necessary governance to ensure customer success.
Within all the complexity that occurs during the development, it is the role of the Agile Coach or respective Scrum Master to ensure that the processes are lived and transparency is ensured. The objective is ensuring continuous sustainable development of mobile applications.
