Supply Chain Planning Engineering is working on the next generation of SAP’s cloud based SCM planning applications. We want to amaze our customers with provisioning of state-of-the art user experience and low Total Cost of Ownership. Combining the capabilities of SAP Cloud with the HANA platform, and our Red Dot award-winning Fiori user experience, Integrated Business Planning is a true showcase of SAP’s strategy.
To ensure the continuous success of our solutions, we offer a Developer Associate position within a highly motivated team focusing on Sales and Operational Planning for Integrated Business Planning. The team is located in Budapest. This opportunity includes collaboration with an international team from several countries.
What you'll do
As a Developer Associate in our development team in the area Integrated Business Planning you perform in-depth manual testing of our applications based on manual test case descriptions prepared by our product experts. You also participate the implementation of automated tests and the maintenance of already existing automated test cases in our central test automation environment. You contribute to the team spirit by supporting an environment of continuous learning, exchanging of ideas & thoughts and embracing culture of innovation.
- An in-depth training program including technical and product related trainings specific to SAP technologies, eg. ABAP, SAP FIORI, SAP HANA
- Working in a cross-functional team defined by the SAP Lean Software Development Model
- Working as developer in an agile development team according to SCRUM
- Collaboration with highly qualified IT experts
- Developing business software with a strong customer focus (as we work closely together with key customers to develop our solutions)
- Contributing actively to architectural and conceptual definitions
- Taking over responsibility in the design, implementation, testing (including the development and maintenance of test automates) and support in ramp-up phases
- Cooperating closely with other national and international development teams and stakeholders
- A strong team of highly qualified experts will coach and advise you on the job and will act as contact partners to help you tackle new and challenging tasks.
What you bring
- 0-2 years experience in software development projects would be an advantage (internships, student jobs…)
- Graduates are welcome to apply!
- Good University Degree in information technology, mathematics, engineering or related area
- Experience in at least one object-oriented programming language (preferably Java/C++/C#)
- ABAP/JavaScript/SQL know how is an advantage
- Good analytical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to work in new, dynamic environments
- Team player
- Open minded, problem-solving aptitude and positive spirit
- Willingness to work with new technologies
- Good English language skills (German is an advantage)
