Head of Digital Supply Chain & Industry 4.0 Netherlands

We are looking for a Solution Sales Manager to leverage world leading SCM knowledge and solutions for our customers in the Netherlands. The Solution Sales Manager will be responsible for the business line Digital Supply Chain in the Netherlands and leading a team of Solution Sales Executives to grow our cloud business.
The primary objective of the Solution Sales Manager is to lead, drive, manage, coach and develop a team of Solution Sales Executives, as well as consistently attain net bookings targets. This is accomplished by utilizing management skills, relevant processes, and training towards the achievement of all sales and quality targets in line with the business objectives.
As a people manager, you are responsible for supporting the success of not only your direct reports, but the success of the market unit and the wider DSC stakeholder community. You will need a collaborative style and ability to work in a networked organization with virtual teams. You are expected to know about the members of your extended team and share insights with your peer managers.
Strong sales skills as well as a proven track record in demand management / business development are key. Moreover, you will also be responsible to build the brand of our Digital Supply Chain team both internally and externally through regular events and industry thought leadership. Your role is to showcase how SAP is the ONLY vender who offers solutions that cover the total value chain end to end – From Product Design to Operations. In your role as first line sales manager you will be responsible for sales execution and coach, support and personally sponsor selected sales cycles.
Collectively we are pushing the digital transformation via solutions that are not only disruptive and innovative, but at the core of business transformation agendas of the C-Suite.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
- Participates in recruiting, performance management, 1 to 1 training, and coaching of the Solution Sales Executives. Drives the general professional development and career development of the agents within the team.
- Manages the sales pipeline in a proactive manner to ensure attainment of the individual and group contributions to the established goals.
- Participates in regular business review meetings or forecast calls
- Provides feedback to Field Management on engagement level with Solution Sales Team
- Assesses the overall performance of the team with respect to the goals/KPIs and its own revenue target
- Works with marketing and field sales management to understand and implement initiatives with Solution Sales requirements.
- Drives and coordinates with field management team to develop 4RQ pipeline, revenue, and demand management
- Drives incremental DSC-owned opportunities from identification to closure
- Provides feedback on initiatives executed to enable continuous program improvement.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE:
- Solid understanding of complex Digital Supply Chain solutions
- People management experience leading virtual team(s)
- Extensive sales experience with business applications and/or IT solutions; experience selling to CXOs
- Experience in sales and in sales management (Direct Sales)
- Proven track record of capturing and growing customer and market share in a profitable manner
- Proven track record in demand management / business development from customer acquisition to nurturing
- Proven track record in building impactful relationships with C-Level decision makers
- Fluent in English
- Results-Driven
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Business / Engineering or Technology)
- Minimun 8 years of proven experience in Enterprise Software, ideally in Supply Chain Management Software / ERP
LOCATION: This role is based in the Netherlands and we are not able to consider candidates which require a relocation.
