Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Pittsburgh, PA location to review customers current business processes, systems, and solutions to document the high-level as-is and to-be process based on SAP solutions.
Expectations and Tasks:
Conduct customer workshops to demonstrate standard SAP solution capabilities using SAP S4 HANA Model Company solutions for different industry verticals. Lead the business requirement gathering discussions and initiate the discussions with the process owners and stake holders to translate them into functional and technical requirement documents. Develop detailed data migration strategy for successful transition of customers to SAP solutions and create detailed business process design documents with planned milestones to execute the solution implementation and process changes effectively Create detailed end to end business process flows and modeling based on the requirements gathered following industry standards like Business Process Model Notation (BPMN). Perform feasibility analysis and create detailed proposals for business process changes. Assist solution architects in building systems and landscape architecture diagrams representing the future solutions. Create specifications for developers to model reusable data services. Design and create user stories, test scripts and test data needed for solution validation. Identify business process pain points and provide process improvement feedback.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Minimum Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field and six years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field and four years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Position requires 4 years of experience involving each of the following:
- Create and implement business blueprint, test cases, schedule and execute tests, develop user training, go live and post-go live support;
- Performance of feasibility studies and solutions reviews and legacy system data mapping and migration;
- Execute planning and perform process implementation across related applications in SAP, including On-premise and cloud-based;
- Develop and assure quality of process models and implement global roll-outs and localization, including E-invoicing management in document reporting and compliance;
- Finance, Controlling Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable and assets management;
- Solution Manager for basic setup, upgrade, and monitoring; and
- Central Finance (cFin) mapping and error management.
Position requires up to 30% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting permitted. Position can be based in any U.S. location.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $106,683 to $164,985. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. sSAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $114,200 to $194,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
