Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Partner Business Management Expert at our Alpharetta, GA location to be part of the SAP Procurement and SAP Business Networks GTM team within the Partner Ecosystem Success Organization (PES) and act as senior expert voice to drive KPI’s for the indirect sales and partner model and the top line KPIs for Sales and Net New Names.
Expectations and Tasks:
Ideate, Incubate & Integrate new commercial offerings for the Intelligent Enterprise Ecosystem in-line with our LACE operating model. Act as a liaison between the partner and various groups within SAP including Technical Support, Delivery, Sales, Engineering and Product Management. Work with PES leadership team and Solution Management teams to plan projects and initiatives to address key business priorities. Work with sales and partner teams to expand customers with new functionalities and scope appropriate efforts related. Work with PES Partner Enablement team, and regional and country channel teams to define and prioritize partner enablement requirements. Provide input in training strategy, including assets, tools, and methodologies and related deliverables. Plan and lead internal projects focusing on ecosystem excellence for the related solutions and products. Provide input on rolebased training map and enablement asset packaging/creation (product knowledge), working with other SAP internal organizations (ie. LOB, SAP Education, KT&E, Presales etc). Track Partner performance and resource readiness for GTM/Delivery. Assist partners in developing their IP through coaching.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Management or a related field and seven years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Management or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
Experience must involve five (5) years in the following:
- Supply chain, procurement, and logistics management, including creating sales orders, managing materials flow, and arranging shipments with 3PL partners through MRP or ERP.
- Project scope assessment and management, including requirement collection, timeline, and delivery schedule.
- Business financial and operational performance evaluation, including balance sheet and income statement assessment.
- Market potential assessment through data analysis.
- Data analytics and Excel data modelling, including propensity modelling.
- Design Thinking workshop facilitation.
- Scale and enable demand generation practice through tools APM, TPM, CRM, PHM, and SPCD.
- Project investment benefits assessment, including TCO, ROI and NPV.
- Perform benchmark analysis through various tools and data sources, including VLM, Onesource, D&B or S&P CapIQ.
Experience must involve three (3) years in the following:
- Formulate Go-To-Market Strategy, drive and execute demand generation planning with sales teams and partners.
- Position Business Network Solutions to customers through value selling, including identifying improvement areas from source to pay process through gap assessment, providing program and solution recommendations, and building business case to demonstrate ROI from the technology transformation project.
Travel: Position requires up to 20% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $151,840 - $193,635. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $175,200 - $297,900 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
