Director, HXM GTM Strategic Initiatives
The SAP Qualtrics ASE Team is looking for a Director of GTM to assist with the Sales and COE Team to drive Employee Engagement growth at scale for the SuccessFactors business. This person will create market differentiation for SAP people-centric solutions and engage with a broader GTM ecosystem on an aligned SAP HXM Go-To-Market strategy to support customer success. This team, brings HXM innovation to market, igniting and aligning different sources of growth for the business and collaborating with a broad set of regional and global stakeholders.
The Director, HXM GTM Strategic Initiatives is a critical member of the GTM Strategy team, driving large scale, global, high-impact efforts to advance HXM GTM big bets. He/she leads the end-to end strategy and execution of GTM initiatives, building a path to execution that brings together the collective expertise of the SuccessFactors organization in the pursue of the right outcomes for the business.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
- Shape and drive the end-to-end strategy and execution of GTM initiatives, bringing an innovation mindset and a programmatic approach to execution to deliver outcomes for the business.
- Define and refine the optimal constructs to bring to market (new solutions, bundles, offerings, etc.) and the corresponding selling motions, ensuring clear understanding of the market opportunity, solution details, commercial impact, and value proposition.
- Lead engagement, socialization, and feedback cycles with global and regional stakeholders to ensure collective understanding of GTM initiative plans and to iterate in a timely fashion.
- Refine and advance GTM process allowing for identification of the right steps, and owners, feedback loops and clarity around outcomes and value delivered. Leverage these processes in the execution of GTM initiatives and to foster best practices in the engagement with the broader GTM team.
- Operate in tight lockstep with SF GTM Solution expert, Solution Marketing and Product experts on end-to-end strategy and execution of initiatives; as well as with partner ecosystem teams, demand management, regional stakeholders and sales support teams to activate GTM initiatives in regions. Accelerate the understanding, delivery and consumption of simplified information and the correct call to actions for the field.
- Extend the reach and impact of SF GTM initiatives through our partner ecosystem working closely with SF Partner ecosystem teams
SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
- Broad business acumen. Ability to quickly understand variety of subjects (product, marketing, commercial details, etc.) as well as their interdependencies and impact on business results
- Prior experience in strategy, demand management, sales operations, business development preferred
- Experience in managing large scale growth initiatives, setting and delivering successful outcomes. Ability to navigate complexity and connect strategy to business results in an actionable way
- Self-starter with a passion for learning, problem solving. Comfortable with building points of view and defining a path to execution
- Ability to balance big picture and attention to detail to prevent and address escalations, make tradeoffs, and optimize decisions in a fast-paced, high stakes environment
- Expertise in defining, managing, and improving processes required to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of operations across teams and ultimately delivery of results
- Ability to deliver results working across functions, seniority level, culture, and time zones in matrixed organizations
- Confident leader, communicator collaborator and influencer across functions to facilitate progress of activities, removal of roadblocks and clarity to leadership team
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level presentations

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 175,200 - 378,800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
