PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Intelligent Enterprise Solutions (IES) with his CIO Florian Roth as part of the Intelligent Enterprise Group provides efficient IT solutions, technology and operational support to our Lines of Businesses (LoBs) with a strong focus on user- and product centricity. Supporting more than 100,000 employees and thousands of SAP systems, IES is delivering business applications be it classical SAP or new SaaS solutions, mobile apps, web and SAP Cloud Platform based applications, as well as workplace technology services covering hardware, client software and unified communications solutions. Fundamentally, IES is enabling SAP to become an Intelligent Enterprise.
The Maintain Deal Solutions organization will be responsible for all activities touching Contract to Revenue related applications and processes. As part of a value streams structured team you will be at the heartbeat of our revenue streams. We can only be successful if we understand ourselves as part of a system, in which the interlinks across various IT and Business Units are essential for a system that functions E2E. Our goal is to have highly scalable, integrated and agile Contract-to-Revenue processes, that serves both, our customer’s needs as well as fulfills our stakeholder’s strategic requirements.
In your role as a Manager, you will be working in an international and fast-paced agile environment. Your tasks include, but not exhaustive:
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
• Build a strong partnership with our Business partners to be an enabler of our internal transformation
• Challenge the status quo and enforce meaningful transformation
• Ensure a frictionless alignment with her/his peers to properly enable End to End processes consideration and delivery
• Be accountable for a seamless collaboration across products and product owners
• Support our IT portfolio planning and monitor value realization based on business needs
• Establish an agile way of working and delivering, leveraging proved principles of scaled agile framework, like SAFe
• Ensure proper Operation model through DevOps concepts and approach
• Grow our people to support the fast evolution of our business processes and priorities
• Enable a high-performance culture and open mindset
• Represent SAP IT in communication with Senior Management
• Act with integrity and fairness, living the SAP corporate values
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
We seek people with distinctive academic credentials, strategic thinking, superior problem-solving skills and a strong professional track record of results.
• Academic degree in Information Systems or Business Management
• Strong people management skills and experience
• Strong coaching and influencing skills
• Systematic way of working, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong experience in working with Business preferably in the Finance area
• Experience in business process and value management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Collaborative mindset (across teams and functions)
• Good knowledge of SAP solutions offering a plus
• Fluent in English
WORK EXPERIENCE
• 7+ years work experience in Finance / O2C business processes and/or projects
• 5+ years work experience in leadership roles
• Strong experience in executive communication
• Experience in working in a multi-cultural organization including with external partners
• Understanding world class IT standards in High-Tech industry preferable
• Understanding of agile development methodology with Knowledge in Scaled Agile Framework a plus
