What you`ll do
As a member of our agile Scrum team, you will implement digital solutions and services to optimize/automate business processes and improve the work efficiency of our product’s user community, together with your peers in a collaborative approach, and your task will not be limited to development tasks but also functional tasks. The foreseen Percentage is (70:30) (Development : Functional)
By nature, ICO is a Cross-Product process. You need to engage with multiple stakeholders – from business as well as IT-internal – and oversee and manage implementations accordingly across a broad range of components.
Your responsibilities also include the following:
• Actively pull most important work from the product backlog, as prioritized by the Product Owner
• Drive clarity around business requirements to refine user stories
• Design and validate solution approaches together with the business
• Implement, test, deploy, and document solutions in incremental sprints
• Continuously share your knowledge within your team to prevent the creation of silos and contribute to overall team skilling up around development area
• Bug-fix what’s broken, both independently as well as collaboratively with various players across the organization and beyond
• Facilitate and safeguard system upgrades and manage effects on your team’s applications
• Drive continuous improvement in how the team delivers value and works collaboratively
• Continuously grow your own capabilities to strengthen cross-functionality within the team
• “One for all and all for one” mindset. Feel responsible for the team commitments and goals and pro-actively contribute to achieving them.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and changing business environment. Flexibility and adaptability are valuable to be successful in this role
What you bring
• Academic degree preferably in Information Technology, Software Engineering or similar
• 5-7 years of professional working experience in an IT, Development, or Consulting environment
• Advanced programming skills in ABAP/ ABAP OO is required; experience in CDS views is an advantage
• Web based development skills (like SAPUI5, JavaScript, oDATA) is a plus
• Experience in relational database solutions is required; experience in SAP HANA is an advantage
• Modelling skills using TAM (Technical Architecture Modeling), or similar, is an advantage
• Test-driven development mindset
• Experience in SAP Controlling or Invoicing module is an advantage
• Integration knowledge with additional SAP modules such as Financial Accounting, Accounts Receivables & Payables, Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA), Settlement management
• Fluent English language skills are mandatory to drive collaboration in a global cross-cultural team
• Focused, pragmatic and result oriented; like to work autonomously as well as in an international and virtual team
• Passion, ability to work under pressure, high level of initiative, dedicated to taking responsibility and ensuring quality are essential
