Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Sales Ops Business Enablement Senior Specialist at our San Ramon, CA location to work within the SAP Academy for Presales, a one year, comprehensive and innovative training program for the next generation of SAP Presales talent.
Expectations and Tasks:
The SAP Academy for Early Talent and is based in SAP’s world-class global learning center in San Ramon, California. The program is designed for recent university graduates with 2-4 years of professional experience. Responsibilities include: Recruitment & Hiring: Work with Regional Presales Leaders to allocate available headcount across the Global Organization; Work with Recruiting to review candidate pool and find suitable candidates for the program based on work experiences and education; Conduct interviews; Organize and execute regional ‘Bootcamps’ across the globe where shortlisted candidates will be evaluated; and Select and Hire suitable candidates for the SAP Academy. Managing a Team: Manage a team of 7-10 professionals (aka program ‘Associates’); Team administration including goal setting, performance evaluation, compensation review, career advancement, approvals (vacation, expense, travel); Provide 1:1 and group feedback and coaching to ensure Associates are continuously developing their Presales skills; Communicating frequently with the Associates’ Market leads/mentors as to their progress during their time at the Academy; Partnering with field Presales and MUs to further develop and monitor the students’ detailed product ramp-up during the latter 6 months of the one year program; Provide feedback in weekly dry runs and evaluations of the Associate(s) performance; and Participate recruitment bootcamps in different MU to give influence for proper associates selection. Curriculum Development; Working closely with other faculty members to review and constantly improve the existing curriculum; and Ensure SAP’s current strategies and product direction is reflected in the curriculum. Classroom Focus: Creating and delivering comprehensive classroom content in an innovative, engaging and inspiring way during the Associates’ first 6 months at the Academy and Working with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) who visit the Academy to ensure they are fully briefed and prepared to deliver the content upon arrival. 10% travel required.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Management, Human Resources, or related field of study and 6 years of experience required. Will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience.
Work Experience:
Experience must involve 4 years in the following: SAP Supply Chain Portfolio, including: SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Transportation Management, SAP Extended Warehouse Management, SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization, SAP Integrated Business Planning, SAP Manufacturing Execution, SAP Trader's and Scheduler's Workbench, SAP Forecast and Replenishment for retail, SAP Logistics Business Networks; Enterprise Software Business Architecture; Internet of Things edge technologies, Machine Learning and AI configuration, Python programming (basic); Business Processes for Supply Chain Management, including Sales and Operations Planning, Discrete and Process Manufacturing, Complex logistics and Distribution processes, Global Trade Services, Maintenance and Asset Management, Product Lifecycle Management; Industry Specific software solutions, including Retail, Oil and Gas, Logistics, Media, Consumer Products; Demand Generation Activities. Experience must also include: Software Implementation Consulting services and partner management; and Project Management, PMI certified. 10% travel required.

Salary Range: $173,930 to $202,048 per year

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $173,930 to $202,048 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
