ABOUT THE TEAM
The "Central Business Configuration Delivery & Customer Success Team" is a Global team that runs 2nd level support for SAP Cloud Customers and drive the success of SAP's Cloud Implementation Projects, using the new technology delivered by CBC (Central Business Configuration). Currently SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition is the most important Cloud Solution supported by CBC. So, if you want to be in the front line for supporting SAP customers while they are defining their SAP cloud-native journey, this is the place to be.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
This role provides opportunities for customer interaction and learning as it is for a young product - Central Business Configuration (CBC).
The Central Business Configuration (CBC) team provides business configuration for Intelligent Enterprise Suite applications. We deliver content covering 270+ scenarios, for 40+ countries, in 37+ languages and tailored to several key industries.
Responsibility for continuous innovation and support of specific product features in a team. Ability to analyze and solve issues in existing and new code.
Full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrates a high level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency. Works closely together with other team members to ensure the team success. Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team.
Has proficient overall product knowledge and shares domain expertise within team
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Work together with customers and partners for successful implementation and delivery
- Deliver on support KPIs – Minimize initial reaction times, message processing times and other KPIs for internal / external customer issues
- Problem solving, ability to reason and isolate problems
- Document solutions in a knowledge base, so that subsequent problem solving is effective
- High engagement levels and ability to coordinate across geographies, development teams, lines of business to achieve customer success
- Ability to work in virtual team and act as “team player”.
- Take up planned support work during designated weekends.
- Analysis of complex software issues (on level Development Support)
- Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in message processing, customer notes, software corrections and software enhancements in the assigned areas of responsibility
- Organize and participate in the de-escalation of critical customer situations
- Provide corrections for data inconsistencies
- Contribute on continuous improvement of software quality adhering to defined requirement and bug processes
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or comparable education
- 2-5 years of experience in a Development or Support role
- Technical and/or functional experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public or Private)
- Data modeling & SQL skills
- Debugging skills, ability to analyze root-cause and provide optimal solutions
- Seek pragmatic and effective solutions with strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Experience in working with web technologies and/or in cloud-based environments
- Programming skills in JavaScript and Node.js. (and preferably Typescript)
