Purpose and Objective:
Ariba, Inc. seeks a Technology Senior Consultant at our Alpharetta, GA location to support the technical workstream and the coordination of technical stakeholders in an engagement.
Expectations and Tasks:
Explain complex technical aspects to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences. Support coordination of delivery activities with technology partners. Plan and execute solution deployments. Leverage the capabilities of the SAP's latest technology platform(s) and reinforces their benefits. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Implements and supports the operation of technical system landscapes. Support setup and connectivity of integrated system landscapes (on-premise, cloud and hybrid) by applying state-of-the-art methodologies. Deliver technology components-specific expert consulting. Delivers system optimization services. Support solution proposals and bid management. Supports escalated projects. Responsible a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Support line manager(s) in people development tasks. Delivers customer workshops and trainings. Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services. Support the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or supports updates to the portfolio. Supports in solution testing and issue resolution. Mentor technology consultants.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field and 6 years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
Position requires at least 4 years of experience in each of the following:
- • Implementation including Buying and Invoicing, Supply Chain Collaboration or Commerce Automation, Sourcing and Contract, or Supplier Life Cycle and Performance Management;
- • Design, build, and test integrations of SAP Ariba Solutions with ERP Central Component (ECC) or S/4 HANA On-Premises and S/4 HANA Cloud;
- • Utilize S/4 HANA Public and Private cloud or MDG-S or Central Procurement;
- • Design and Development for SAP Cloud Technologies including Cloud Integration Gateway or Application Programming Interface (API);
- • Design and integrate One Source Tax Engine or Vertex with SAP Ariba Solutions and S/4HANA or SAP ECC;
- • Integrate SAP Ariba Application with Non-SAP systems including Oracle, PeopleSoft, Icertis, or MDM;
- • Direct material procure-to-pay implementation; and Sourcing and CLM Implementation and Integration with SAP systems.
Travel: Position requires up to 50% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting permitted.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $119,621 - $188,445. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $130,400 - $221,700. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
