Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks an HR Total Rewards Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to lead the Americas team tower for Global Mobility ticket triage and response.
Expectations and Tasks:
Supports design and implementation of internal cross border staffing processes in close alignment with the finance, consulting, IT and other organizations. Leads the US business traveler risk program. Supports consulting projects with country expertise and drives relocation cases within SAP’s Global Mobility policies and agreed upon service level agreements as a case manager. Maintains an excellent knowledge of Global Mobility topics, especially with regards to country specifics: immigration, social security, tax and permanent establishment risks among others. Responsible for providing trainings/exchanges regarding Mobility topics (immigration, social security, tax). Acts as a Country Expert for assigned country(ies) and/or Business Areas and shares expertise and guidance to aid business decisions, including proactive input for the internal knowledge database and takes end to-end ownership for GM platforms and services (Transfers, Assignments, Bus. Travel compliance, etc). Primary contact person for various internal business stakeholders to consult on Global Mobility related questions. Manages a mobility caseload of in process moves and delivers employee consultations. Manages process exceptions and finds solutions for non standard cases as well as provides feedback for the global policy and ongoing process improvements. Acts as an interface between local HR, Consulting, Finance, IT, Expat Payroll and the Shared Services Organization. Escalates non-standard topics to the appropriate contacts, includes all stakeholders in the consultation with the customer and finds solutions. Promotes global team collaboration and works closely with Mobility Consultants in other regions as well as Mobility Specialists who are part of the Shared Service Center. Interacts with Mobility’s Third Party vendors for constant process improvements and optimization of the individual relocations. Tracks and monitors case progression and system updates within EIC/IPP/ISP as it relates to onboarding/offboarding activities, start dates, and other global mobility specific data points. Facilitates mobility related updates to the internal portal.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field and 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or related occupation. Employer will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Work Experience:
Position requires 3 years of experience involving each of the following:
• Organizational design of board areas and hierarchy to guide leadership and key stakeholders on compliance for tax, immigration and relocation matters;
• Management of short- and long-term assignments and global moves, including assignment cost estimate preparation, consultation on tax equalization and assignment related allowances, and tax, immigration and relocation escalations;
• Resolve complex situations between conflicting stakeholder expectations regarding international business travelers to the US and risk management with international travel;
• Interdependent downflow processes as it relates to benefits, onboarding and offboarding processes, and payroll;
• Oversight, triage, and solutioning of incoming HR service “tickets;”
• Relocation cost estimator tools;
• Business traveler programs, including U.S. tax and immigration impacts for business travelers, threshold management, monitoring, and service initiation; and
• US, Canada, and LATAM immigration requirements, including identification of applicable U.S. visa types and PERM Application support.
Position requires 1 year of experience in the following:
• Record maintenance in HRIS systems, including SuccessFactors.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $90,085 - $113,670. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $90,085 - $126,300 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
