Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Process Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to define customer requirements and perform fit/gap analysis to standard SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM) processes within the SAP BRIM solution.
Expectations and Tasks:
Utilize quote to cash processes for order management including master data, solution quotes, subscription orders, subscription contracts, and product modeling for SAP SOM within the SAP BRIM solution. Apply SAP S/4HANA Subscription Order Management module or SAP CRM Subscription Order Management module to guide customer transformation. Lead and participate in customer design workshops. Translate design documentation into business process flows, functional specification documents and configuration documents. Create test scripts and execute testing in the quote to cash area for SAP SOM within the SAP BRIM solution.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field and 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
Experience must involve 3 years in the following:
- Project Management skills leveraging different methodologies, including Waterfall (PMBOK), Agile, and SAFe;
- Business Process Modeling and Blueprinting to lead E2E Requirements Management;
- Database Skills, including PL/SQL for querying and developing procedures, packages, and functions;
- Design, implement and execute Test Plans covering Unit, Integration, Functional and Regression Testing;
- End to End Solution Design Blueprint and Test Case Documentation;
- Define and track end-user behavior and usage patterns to assess solution adoption success rate and advise on process enhancement opportunities;
- Lead delivery of workstreams / sub projects by building cross-function and cross-product collaboration across IT and Business teams;
- Utilization of HR Processes, including Workforce Management and Payroll and their integration into Finance;
- Fit vs. Gap analytical expertise to assess fit of standard solution offering with Business Requirements;
- Direct (FI), Indirect (FI), and Payroll taxation (HR) and legal reporting solutions (FI & HR);
- Period End Close activities;
- Project management, including Forecasting, KPI definitions tracking, and Status reporting;
- Define product vision and execute roadmaps to achieve target KPIs;
- Order to Invoice and Finance Processes; and
- S/4 HANA Integrated Business Processes, S/4 HANA BRIM, FIORI technologies and the associated data transfer from the core system via gateways.
Travel: Position requires up to 50% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting permitted. Position can be based in any U.S. location.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $122,262 to $144,670. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $122,262 to $173,600 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
