What you´ll do
The Senior Health Services Specialist provides sustainable health and health-prevention services and programs based on the interests and needs of SAP employees to keep them balanced, healthy, engaged, and productive.
In alignment with the HR Direction, SAP Global Health & Safety Policy and the supervision of the Health Services Manager the Senior Health Services Specialist is accountable for the successful delivery of Health and Safety services in his/her area of responsibility as onsite and remote services, in-house counseling services, health promotion programs, medical travel precautions, and local emergency management.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Assume responsibility for the day-to-day deliveries in the field of local health services (Prevention of Labor Risks - PRL)
- Perform risk assessments and preventive action planning in compliance with legal requirements as a Senior Health Services Specialist
- Propose measures for risk control and reduction.
- Train and raise awareness among employees on PRL requirements.
- Conduct PRL inspections.
- Collaborate and prepare PRL audits.
- Calculate and report PRL indicators to management and headquarters.
- Manage PRL documentation.
- Coordinate activities of companies with those that carry out their activity in our facilities and coordinate with companies in which the activity is carried out in their facilities.
- All activities related to the area of Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL)
- Observe and enforce the rules and policies regarding safety, hygiene, environment, and quality that affect their area of responsibility.
- Collaborate in the application and monitoring of the necessary methods to ensure the effectiveness of the prevention system.
- Cooperates closely with local Facility Management and Security to maintain local emergency management.
- Monitors planned vs. actual budget constantly.
- Ensures compliance with local Health and Safety (PRL), legislation.
- Manages and integrates external vendors and partners.
- Continuous improvement and adaptation of services according customer feedback and local needs
- Provide customer-oriented service delivery in the field of local health services.
What you bring
Experience & Language / Education Requirements
- Medical education
- Minimum functional experience 5 years, also in private practice (or comparable function)
- Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention (three Preventive Specialties, Occupational Safety, Occupational Health, and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology)
- Scope of experience: occupational health, emergency medicine, general medicine
- Fluent in Spanish and English

- Min. 3 years professional training or comparable experience
