Job Title: Customer Success Partner Expert
Location: Central or Eastern US
As part of the Distribution organization, Customer Success serves as a focal point for our customers to achieve success with SAP Concur. We have a Hybrid opportunity for a unique individual to apply both Customer Success skills as well as Strategy and Program skills into a single role to benefit the Global and Premier Customer Success organization. On the Customer Success side, you will be responsible for developing high-trust relationships with a subset of accounts that you will manage, while being the backup when there is an extended gap in coverage due to open headcount, medical leave or other situations where the designated CSP is unavailable. On the Strategy & Programs side, you will be responsible for managing and executing strategic initiatives that deliver high-impact scale and efficiency to the Global and Premier Customer Success organization and customer base. This is a strategic role working with customers, peers and leadership cross functionally.
Who you are:
- Successful experience managing large enterprise customers in a complex, matrixed environment. Ideal candidates have an established customer account/territory management skillset ready on day one.
- Strong track record of working cross-functionally to establish productive internal partnerships with designated cross functional team members and being a leader of client strategy and actions for improvement
- A creative self-starter, with energy, drive and a critical thinking skillset able to make independent decisions while managing competing customer priorities and internal deliverables.
- Take ownership to de-escalate situations and organize disparate workstreams to successfully address customer issues. You will be working with escalations and contacts within the Customer Office and the account team to resolve official escalations.
- See conflict as opportunity and assess situations and find common ground quickly
- Know how to get things done through formal channels and informal networks
- Lead and inspire coworkers through project execution. Projects will include micro user groups, Global community newsletters and various communication campaigns
- Analytical skill set that has led to success in solving problems that may come up during a typical work day. You will be managing existing reports and spreadsheets, as well as creating new ones that will be used by the team’s Leadership
- Technology application experience with Gainsight, Tableau and Salesforce is a must
- Driven to Make Value Visible to our clients in support of Revenue Under Management and Retention goals
- Thrives in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced and evolving environment
- Wiling to travel up to 25%
- Has 7+ years of Customer Success, Account Management or Sales experienc

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 159,100 - 342,600 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
